Teaching and Advocacy

Design 5 – Architects’ expertise is highly regarded in the areas of conservation philosophy, principles and practice, traditional building technology and architectural history.

Alan Croker is regularly invited to share his conservation and architectural skills and experience with students, fellow professionals, various authorities and professional bodies. He is a regular contributor to the Canberra University Summer School on the Conservation of Traditional Building Materials, and the Masters degree course in Heritage Conservation at Sydney University. He is also often invited to speak on Hindu temples and iconography to specialist groups.
